Gerhard Muller, or better known as Gerd Muller is one of Germany’s greatest footballers of all time. The striker was regarded as one of the most deadliest players inside the penalty box and was known for his finishing skills. Averaging more than a goal per game, Muller led West Germany’s domination in the European and World football for years. He was nicknamed “Der Bomber” for his deadly finishing instincts. He was an important member of the West Germany team that won the FIFA World cup in 1974 and the European Championship in 1972.
