9. Murali Vijay (CSK) – 46 balls
The former Chennai Super Kings opener, Murali Vijay was one the cog-wheels of the Men in Yellow until the franchise got suspended from the league. In IPL 2010 against Rajasthan Royals, the Indian Test opener blasted a 56-ball 127 run knock to propel CSK to its highest ever IPL score of 246 runs.
The graceful batsman reached his ton in merely 46 deliveries which was startling for many as generally Vijay is not looked upon as someone as explosive as he turned out to be on that day at Chennai. The stylish knock included 8 boundaries and 11 hits over the ropes.
