Punter led Australia to two successive World Cup wins in 2003 and 2007 respectively in which his side remained invincible. Ponting played his best ODI knock against India in the finals of the World Cup 2003 where he smashed 140 runs.

One of the most classical batsmen of all time, the right-hander scored 13,704 runs at a splendid average of 42.03 after playing 375 ODIs with 30 centuries and 82 half-centuries to his name.
