Petr Cech : Top 10 Goalkeepers of the English Premier League

He has already equalled the record set by David James, with almost 220 Premier league appearances lesser than him.  The Czech goalkeeper joined Chelsea in 2004 from Rennes and never had to look back. He made 333 appearances for Chelsea and kept 162 clean sheets before joining the arch-rivals Arsenal in this year.

Petr Cech can be indisputably regarded as the best goalkeeper of his generation. He almost met death in 2006, when he fractured his skull after colliding with Stephen Hunt of Reading FC. Since making his return after the Injury, the goalkeeper has been wearing a rugby style head-guard as a precautionary measure.

At 33, Petr Cech has still got what it takes to fight in the top level, at least for the next three years. He is certain to overcome the record set by David James. It will be even grander of him if he could achieve the magical stat of 200 Premier League clean sheets.
