Rooney debuted for Everton at the age of 16. He caught the eye with notable performances for the Merseyside club and helped Everton in beating Arsenal, ending their 49 games unbeaten run.
He joined Manchester in 204 and since made 352 appearances so far, scoring 172 goals and is now second in the all-time premier league top scorers list. He share the spot with former Manchester United player, Andy Cole.
The Manchester United captain has won five premier league titles with United and his bicycle goal against Manchester City in 2011 is regarded as the best goal since Premier League begun in 1992.
