Jose Mourinho, Pep Guardiola or Antonio Conte – who will be more successful next season?

Jose Mourinho

Jose MourinhoGet a head start! And then everything is fine. It is the motto of Jose and he has deployed it well. He won the UCL with Porto when the odds were remote. When Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger were at their peak and just after the Arsenal invincible season as a newcomer he won titles with a record 95 points and just one defeat, he followed the success in the next immediate season also, it really did jump off the page. Comparing with Conte and Pep he has the habit of defying odds – in his favor as well as against him or else who could have predicted such a disastrous season with Chelsea last time? Thus earning the nicknames ‘The special one’ and ‘The sacked one’.

Jose knows EPL well than Conte and Pep which gives him an edge over them. But to get a second wind in EPL he has to face more hurdles than the other two new counterparts. Even though statistically Manutd was the best in defensive game, when it comes to offense they were nowhere near their rivals. To make it worse, their star attacking players was Rashford and Martial who are so young and LVG had a special talent to nurture young players which Mourinho is not known for. It will be very interesting to see how he will handle the young and fresh Manutd crop. With Europa League as a main distraction for a club of Manutd’s stature, it will be very difficult for him to compete for the title and to attract top players because of the lack of Champions League. Not to forget his rivalry with Pep during their days in Spain and it’s going to get reignited here and to make it better they are managing two Manchester clubs.

But if he can get the best out of star players like Rooney and Bastian, who failed under LVG and with the support of young players or new additions by keeping DDG – who was decorated as their best player in last 3 seasons, Jose can do wonders at the Theatre of Dreams.
