“The Theatre of Dreams” as it is widely called, has a seating capacity of 75,635 that makes Old Trafford the biggest club stadium in the United Kingdom. It is also the only stadium in England with a UEFA five star rating. Old Trafford serves as the home ground for Manchester United.

The construction of the stadium started in 1909, and was opened in 1910. But the period of Second World War saw the stadium suffering several damages due to German bombing. Nevertheless, the stadium was renovated and reopened in 1949.

Manchester United honoured their  manager Sir Alex Ferguson by naming the biggest stand in the stadium after him. The stadium has witnessed a lot of great matches including matches at the 1966 World Cup, 1996 Euro Cup and 2003 Champions League final.
