5. 44* runs v Sunrisers Hyderabad (2015)
This was one helluva of a match which was greatly impacted by rain and Kohli. It was a do-or-die game for the RCB and against the same opponents who have had previously knocked out Bangalore from the league.
Chasing a stiff total of 81 runs off 6 overs in a rain-curtailed match, the departure of Gayle and ABD meant Kohli was the lone warrior left in the ranks of Bangalore. With 13 runs required off the last 4 deliveries and ball in Bhuvi’s hand who had turned out to be a death-overs specialist, previous season, it seemed another heartbreak for Kohli and Co. But Kohli weaved magic and hit consecutive fours and then the match winning six en route to his 19-ball 44 run knock.
