4. 100* runs v Gujarat Lions (2016)
It took Virat Kohli quite a few innings to finally score his maiden T20 hundred. And it came against the Gujarat side at Rajkot on a rather hot afternoon.
Kohli who is not a big hitter of the ball and is more of a grafter took 31 singles in this innings and turned up the heat with his aggressive running between the wickets. The RCB captain reached the three figure mark off 63 deliveries with a strike-rate of 158 and caressed 11 boundaries and a six in the innings. Though his arduous efforts went in vain as the hosts hunted down the target.
