Virat scored a century again but this time it came in a winning cause with the hosts winning the match by a big margin of 144 runs, the biggest margin of victory in IPL history.
The ABD-Kohli pair combined in a butchering 98-ball 229 run partnership to sway away the Gujarat bowlers rather mercilessly and in a cold blooded manner. The Delhi-born cricketer reached his hundred off 53 deliveries. It was an excellent acceleration by VK which saw him reaching his third ton of the season as he was batting on 65 when the 19th over begun but by the end of the penultimate over he had reached the 95 run-mark, scoring a massive 30 runs from Shivil Kaushik’s over.
